About The Artwork
Peaky Blinders as a whole has a history of its own, but this actor (Thomas Shelby) captures the moment perfectly, and I wanted to paint him, as I feel his eyes tell a story. I used acrylic and acrylic based silk to paint this piece onto Canvas, it gives a nice almost flat finish to the painting and the shades of grey compliment his features that is able to be seen from across the room. I feel this would be a great addition - artistic or not - to any room, due to its bright yet subtle colouring, and being painted to a canvas allows for quick easy hanging.
