I was riding my bike along the Norwottuck Rail Trail in Hadley, MA and saw a cornfield which I photographed. Using photographs of pears I had taken some years earlier and a photograph of a table I saw in Brattleboro, VT I composed this painting. I like to combine a still life with a landscape.
