About The Artwork

I recently joined TikTok to share my art and a video of another creator came up where the person bragged how “this painting hasn’t sold yet” and a painting is all it seemed to be to me. In 1844 Hugh Blackburn created the pendulum painting where paint drips onto a canvas as a swinging pendulum and as the paint runs out the loops become smaller in diameter. Definitely a great concept playing with physics although fast forward a few centuries people are replicating this for the sake of replicating it and becoming sell outs. It brings me down along with the standard of art people are being sold, so I painted my own take. Pears sometimes represent people in my artworks so I painted pears in the shape of a spiral on their way out the window, commenting on the repeated process and how it may still put the viewer in a trance, no matter how many times it’s been done. I also like to see the pears as the paint drops at birds eye view. This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones, sold with hooks ready to hang and a certificate of authenticity.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I’m a surrealist and paint one painting and one digital artwork a week, I’ve turned them both into a series of colouring in books. My digital artworks are purely just creations with usually no intent although I paint mainly in visual metaphors of my experiences, perceptions or thoughts. I won’t paint if anyone’s around me in real life although do record them for people to see them come to life. Once the painting’s done, it’s done and I move onto the next. The result may not be a reflection of my best skill level at the age I create it, but a reflection of the mood and environment I created it in.
