Peonies Painting

Natasha Malenkova is a Russian artist/designer from Bridgewater, New Jersey. Back in Russia, she worked as a designer in a metallurgical factory, producing beautiful rooms for social events and relaxation. She was also recognized for making stage decorations for plays. Around 2010, she deviated from modern designs and worked in traditional canon art style in order to paint icons for churches. Many of her works can now be found in Sts. Cosmas & Damian Russian Church in Passaic, New Jersey. While working in different mediums- such as oil pastels, watercolors, and acrylics - she recently discovered the beauty of oil paint. Now, she often mixes it with other mediums to produce unique effects in her art. Her works, although of various genres, are done in realism style - starting from people, animals, and scenarios all the way to nature. Her most recent works focus on the beauty of life and untouched wilderness.
