The subject of this, as with much of my work, is created from the amalgam of impressions gathered during my travels. These are metaphorically "collaged" together interacting against an intuitive grid. I focus on the visual properties of my experience and underlying structure that lie outside of specific narrative. Watercolor with its characteristic fluidity, transparency and unpredictability is an ally in my process investigating places and experience. My favorite paper for these compositions is Khadi 100% cotton rag. It is easiest to purchase and ship these works unframed. However, upon request, you may inquire the price of framed works.
