Even as a child, I colored meticulously inside the lines. But growing up in a bustling household also taught me to feel at ease in chaos, and that tension between control and spontaneity continues to echo throughout my work. At first glance, my pieces might appear random, but a deeper look reveals their underlying structure and intentionality. I balance thoughtful planning with expressive improvisation—lines, shapes, and generous use of negative space all working together to create a sense of rhythm and tension. I welcome imperfection.
