About The Artwork
Sometimes when you sit so still, you can enjoy the dance of wind in a linen table cloth. I painted also a small wild strawberry that had dropped from the tip of the straw onto the table cloth, smearing it slightly, but I realized immediately it was a mistake. I wiped the strawberry off and the title of the work was born at the very same moment - Perfect Day. The paining is painted on a special surface of sand and plaster that is built solidly on a sheet of plywood, so please bare in mind - it's quite heavy for a painting, almost like a piece of uneven wall. You can choose if you want the painting with or without the frame (please add 200 EUR if buying with the frame)

After a period of creating (self)analytical installations, I have time and again returned and finally stayed with my favorite subject – Still Lifes. My paintings are dedicated to silence and beauty. For me, painting is the best mean to store those moments of stillness, enjoy them and then again, leave them behind. Another interest that has accured lately into my creative work is portraiture. I'm making my first steps after more than two decades of the last tries. I'll soon add some photos of my latest portraits and gladly accept commissions. Most of my artwork is painted with oil paints.
