Perilla Cresent Painting

Butterflies are one of the few representational subject matters that I am ever drawn to paint. I am fascinated by the power such a delicate creature can embody aesthetically. This is a mixed medium contemporary butterfly canvas. It has been painted using high quality acrylic paints and highligted through the use of soft chalk pastels. The use of the vibrant orange complimented by the electric blue makes this a bold, colourful piece of original artwork which would brighten up any home or office. The edges of the canvas are neatly painted and it is already strung up with d-rings and picture cord, so all you need is a picture hook and the perfect place to hang it!
