JAIME BONA (jazxart) He is a Spanish artist (Madrid, 1984). He began professionally working in design and architecture studios in the Spanish capital, such as Jesús Manzanares Arquitectos, collaborating on projects with architects such as Rafael Moneo, Álvaro Siza, Zaha Hadid. After several years he moved to Amsterdam, where he will begin to develop professionally as a painter. Little by little, he would move away from the underground scene of Madrid, Berlin and Amsterdam, city where he start making several exhibitions and opened experimentally, in an old printing house in the Red Light District, gallery 33 1/3 (for 3 years), with four others artists recognized in the art scene, which gave him the opportunity to be one more, being just a young artist who began to create his own style. Thanks to them, I would learn the importance of being constant both creatively and productively. He has had exhibitions in Amsterdam, London, Paris and Madrid. He make an intuitive, spontaneous painting, where the color becomes very important as well as the message and symbolism. Not everyone sees the same thing, until reading the title or the artist explains what I capture. The game of chromatically complex, analytical, variable zones, with planes, voids, lines and paths, seeks the viewer's eye to vibrate, flow through the artwork without perceiving it and every time you see the artwork will be different. ´´Art is everything that without realizing it, attracts you, slows you down, makes you reflect without knowing why, you don't understand it quickly according to what you see or hear. Without the need for knowledge, it made you think and feel something that you only know varies, that makes you reflect not with the mind, but in the depths of our being. Not knowing why it will expand your subconscious and make you grow.´´ His art has a strong influence of Expressionism, Dadaism, Surrealism, the Cobra movement, Comic, Grafitti, Street Art, and Neo-expressionism. But always trying to create a unique and personal style. ´´I have always believed that the painter has to work most of the hours, without the paint, or the pencil on his/her hands. After several years away from Galleries and art fairs. maturing, analyzing and strengthening my style. I decided to go one step further, and create more interesting proposals for gallery owners, collectors, and the general public.
