Sônia Barreto Freire is a writer and illustrator who utilizes a variety of materials that inspire her artistic endeavors. As a teacher and educational consultant, her curiosity is rooted in philosophy and aligns with the aesthetics of existence, expressing itself through various forms of art. She moves between writing and children's illustration, blending painting with fabric scraps, rugs, and paper embroidery. Her work emphasizes childhood, with a published children's book containing text and illustrations by the author. She has participated in various artistic and literary events and is currently developing a cultural project featuring a children's character, focusing on creativity and connections with the cosmopolitan educational principles proposed in the Sustainable Development Goals, aligned with the 2030 Agenda.
