Tanya Dimitrova (Tanya Dim) – Artist Bio Tanya Dimitrova, known professionally as Tanya Dim, is a Bulgarian fine art artist working in contemporary art. With a deep passion for color and movement, Tanya’s work is driven by the exploration of vibrant hues and dynamic expression. She focuses on creating compelling portraits, seascapes, and figurative art, primarily using oil and acrylic paints. For Tanya, color is the central element in her creations, guiding the emotional tone and energy of each piece. Through her use of rich, expressive palettes, she seeks to convey the complexities of human experience and the fluidity of life itself. Tanya's formal art education includes five years at the Tsanko Lavrenov National High School of Fine Arts, where she honed her artistic skills. She furthered her studies with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from AMTII, specializing in the history of clothing. This blend of fine art and fashion design influences her approach to composition and form, often seen in the thoughtful integration of movement and color. Her work has been exhibited in various settings, and she continues to explore new techniques, ideas, and mediums in her ongoing artistic journey.
