Miloš Glavonić – Expressionist abstract painter Born in 1984 in Pancevo, Miloš Glavonić is an artist who expresses complex emotions and interpersonal conflicts in the form of expressionist abstract through his paintings. He is an emergency medical technician by education, but art has always been his true passion and calling in life. During his education, he attended the music school "Jovan Bandur" in Pancevo, at the vocal-instrumental section - guitar, where he was awarded several times at national competitions. As a young man, he actively trained in karate, and during high school and studying psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, he was also a DJ known for sets of Deep, Underground and Tech House music - which still has a significant impact on his artistic expression. Miloš grew up in a family deeply connected to art and culture. He is the younger son of the late Sava Glavonić, a respected cultural organizer, author of the book "Pančevo Fine Artists of the 20th Century" and long-time director of the Cultural Center in Pančevo. That artistic and organizational heritage strongly shaped Miloš's approach to creation and contribution to society. He independently developed a recognizable painting style that combines expressionistic abstract expression with rich, multi-colored textures and relief effects. His works often thematize the "conflict of discipline and freedom" and exude an avant-garde spirit and emotional power. For Miloš, the preparation of the canvas is a key part of the process, because he believes that a good preparation is the basis for a strong artistic message. His paintings can be found in public institutions in Pancevo, but also in private collections around the world - in Montenegro, Republika Srpska, Romania, Canada, Peru, Chile and Australia. He is a friend and collaborator of the surrealist Marko Adamović. He cites Academic painter Eres Djerdj as the most important mentor and friend who perfects him and closely follows his every move. He also perfects his work under the mentorship of Academic painter and master of drawing Zoran Deranić, with the support of Academic painter Čedomir Kesić, the founder of the school of drawing in Pancevo, from which very important names of Pancevo painting emerged. Miloš is known for his professional and analytical openness to criticism, which he accepts as a path to further development and improvement.
