Ahmad Su’udhi was born in Temanggung, Central Java, on 17 April 1958. In 1986 he studied Visual Communication in ASRI Yogyakarta. Ever since he started his study in ASRI, he already got his scholarship of 'Talent and Best Achievement', followed by few others 'Recognition of Excellence' in Graphic Design. 1997 - 1998 Throughout these years, he wrote children serial books and also became illustrator of children story books which were published in several media in Jakarta. This period of time gave him such a strong personality that when he became a painter, his works were much inspired by his experience around children. His early works mainly featured children activity, their daily life, and their happiness among their family and friends. Ahmad Su’udhi portrayed the children with a bright face, wide eyes, cute and innocence expression. His recent works were the babies series. The sense of innocence of the babies was connected to the modern way of living.
