ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this work, I make predominate the saturated hues composed for half of warm colors. It is a canvas all in dynamics resulting from an approach above all gestural and from the release taken under control. The touches of paint were laid by unique brush strokes, superimposed and without mixing in order to preserve their brilliance. The washed shades in the background of the canvas were made in wash, the addition of water generating drips which by their static appearance accentuate by contrast the impression of movements in the foreground. After mentally defining the overall composition, I let improvisation guide my gestures to preserve all the spontaneity necessary for this joyful visual explosion, both strong and light. https://youtu.be/E0zdcdQt0-4
