About The Artwork
The symbolism of this berry is multifaceted and all traditional world religions give the pomegranate a special place. In Christian culture, pomegranate is a symbol of the Resurrection of Christ, Easter joy, eternal life. It is one of the original Christian symbols. It is also mentioned in a number of holy books, including the Bible, where it appears as an image of beauty, as well as a symbol of the unity of the world. On many picturesque canvases of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the baby Jesus holds a pomegranate in his hand - a gift brought by Christ to humanity, a gift of eternal life. According to one legend, Noah's ark, moored at the top of Mount Ararat, was lit with a grenade. In Buddhism, pomegranate is one of the blessed fruits, along with citrus and peach. In Islam, he was considered a symbol of moral purification, a fruit that grew in Paradise. In China, it symbolizes abundance, fertility, a happy future. Also, in the East, pomegranates are called the “king of all fruits”, and the flowers and fruits of the pomegranate symbolize love and friendship, which is why it is often presented as a gift when entering the house as a guest.

I attribute my creativity to the sphere of Symbolism. Each painting has its own idea, filled with a certain meaning. My paintings are presented in oil glazing technique and in the author's technique, combining sculpture on canvas and gilding. Each painting is made by hand and in a single copy. In my biography there is no graduation from an art university. I have 10 years of managerial experience in the HR field in one large company. But my interest, claims and vision rather lie in the area that combines psychology and painting. I have two higher educations and a postgraduate degree. Since 2003, psychoanalysis has occupied a dominant place in my life, which has allowed me to do what I like in life. Creativity has entered my life since 2010. In 2011, I had my first personal exhibition “Paradise” with the support of the Art Development Fund, as well as many participations in group exhibitions. In 2017, the “Golden Collection” was exhibited. Today, some of my works are in private collections in Ukraine and abroad. I take part in the annual Charity Auction (Kamaliya’s Charity Night)
