SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Flowers are the perfect example of resilience. They embody a cycle of death and rebirth that is nothing short of miraculous. With the onset of winter, flowers wither and die, only to return with renewed vigor and beauty in the spring and summer. This cycle is a powerful metaphor for human resilience...

I graduated from the National Studio of Fine Arts of Boris Danchenko (Sumy, Ukraine) in 1999 and worked as an artist-decorator from 1999 to 2005. Later, I earned a master’s degree in philology and had a postgraduate course in accounting. Although I worked as an accountant, I didn’t stop drawing and painting. Together with my husband I made illustrations for books and created murals (private commissions). In 2022, I moved to Finland to escape the war in Ukraine. My works were shown in exhibitions in Finland and were featured in magazines such as Welter, Phoebe, Quibble.lit, Rednoisecollective, Flare, 805lit, etc. My works are inspired by nature ( nature in the wide sense of the word: human’s nature is included). I love organic and rhythmic shapes, though almost all elements are personal symbols of inner balance and hidden resources, that appeared as a result of struggling and losses. I create visual narratives recognizing that we all strive for harmony and peace and look for beauty even in chaos. I experiment with different elements in order to create thought-provoking works that challenge the viewer's perception of the world. I like to work in different techniques, exploring the strongest sides of mediums. I am also a poet and for me creating visual art is almost the same as writing a poem, but using images instead of words.
