2020. Oil on burlap, 146x97 cm. "Destací vililí lililí: Material Culture and Terminally Ill Capitalism" is a series of poor and, in a way, ugly still-life paintings, loosely gathered around an almost meaningless phrase taken from "Canción Total", sung by Catalonian duo Maria Arnal i Marcel Bagés. Most of the items depicted on these paintings were either saved from the trash can or bound to it. The title, "The path oxen step", is a line written by Carmen Martín Gaite in her poem "Ni Aguantar ni Escapar".
