ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This small painting is a gorgeous depiction of the first truly legendary Porsche race car - the 904. The 904 debuted late in 1963, for the 1964 racing season,[1] as a successor to the 718, which had been introduced in 1957. Porsche designed the GTS variant to compete in the FIA-GT class at various international racing events. The Carrera GTS took several victories at the most well known races such as Targa Florio, Spa, Sebring and many more. On this painting it is showcased at the pit lane of the circuit de la Reims. Perhaps its most known victory in 1964. This small painting is a must have for race car lovers or Porsche lovers. A very nice addition to any garage.
