Esta obra nace por mi necesidad de pintar el portón de mi atellier. El cuadro debería ser totalmente planista y por eso surgieron los símbolos representando cuatro técnicas de meditación; De ese modo pinté el portón dándole una característica personal que pasa desapercibida al ojo del extraño. El cuadro es una previa del mural que luego pinté en el portón. This work was born out of my need to paint the gate of my atellier. The picture should be totally planar and that is why the symbols representing four meditation techniques arose; In this way I painted the gate, giving it a personal characteristic that goes unnoticed by the stranger's eye. The painting is a preview of the mural that I later painted on the gate.

José Aguirre was born on June 19, 1956 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Was a disciple of Pepe Montes who in turn was a disciple of Torres García, the creator of Constructive Universalism, today is considered a great exponent of this current. Constructivism proposes a harmonic system to add symbols that dictate a universal language. His search uses this method and integrates it into the language of naturalism while naturalism merges with constructive abstraction.
