“My paintings belong to expressionism with a tendency towards realism.” Witnessing Evi Panteleon’s work, the spectator discovers artist’s love for color, motion and light at first glance. One can detect the different type of tensions and contradictions of light, color, space and density. The last fifteen years, Evi Panteleon's painting focuses on creating works based on anthropocentric themes in which she creates an expressionistic mood in abstract ways. The artistic result is supported by the following factors: constant information about artistic performances, search and study of the history of art and experimentation with the aim of deepening and freeing its design, touch and color. Evi Panteleon's paintings belong to expressionism with a tendency towards realism. Every creation of her and every work, is an inner search of oneself, subconsciously or not. Evi Panteleon born, live and work in Loutraki Korinthias, Greece. She is a graduate of the University of Fine Arts, Florina, Greece.
