Claudine Exumé AKA TIZO, was born and raised in Haiti, in 1985. She studied photography had been under the tutelage of the renown Haitian artist Richard Barbot for several years. In 2007 she moved to Morelia, Mexico where she studied Fine Art and currently resides. In 2010, TIZO has had the opportunity of learning the old technics of the Great Masters at the Grand Central Academy of Art (now renamed Grand Central Atelier) Manhattan, NY. Right after art school, TIZO has dedicated herself to teaching drawings, art history and foreign languages in private schools and universities in Morelia. She is since 2019 a full time artist.
