Powerless Painting

Cheng Jun When blue meets red,due to the complementary color effect,it creates a unique impression of cyan-green.I deliberately use this in artistic expressions that align with various thematic melodies...to satisfy a stronger visual need.Of course,this is not an effect produced by a simple binary opposition. I was born in Northeast China and have loved immersing myself in colorful canvases since childhood.I once studied under teachers from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts,pursuing beauty and yearning for freedom in painting.It is not only a display of skill but also an expression of emotions and thoughts. As an adult,I entered the field of advertising creative design in Beijing.Inspired and stimulated by reality,I often create paintings when I have insights.These creations stem from my observations and reflections on social phenomena,as well as my own personal experiences— My painting creations focus on an in-depth exploration of human nature.They are mostly expressed in abstract ways and presented intentionally,striving to use a purer language of painting.In works with public welfare themes,I delve deeper into the multifaceted nature of humanity—courage and timidity,independent thinking and conformity,freedom of consciousness and fatalism,hope and despair,awakening people's conscience and the charm of the superego.The paintings attempt to use contrasting colors and lines to present the uniqueness and commonality of human nature,revealing inner struggles and growth,and seeking light in adversity. We strive to provoke profound reflection on ourselves and the world in each painting,stimulating our inherent aspirations. I hope to meet more friends through painting!"
