"Pre-clown deuteranopia" This painting is part of the "deuteranopia" series about colorblind people. The artist was able to create a palette of colors corresponding to colors that colorblind people see (people with deuteranopia). Then anyone can see as if they were colorblind but colorblind people can see more colors in these paintings because this correspond to their usual colors. It's like switching the roles! In the title, pre-clown means the actor is still himself just before he puts on his nose and become the clown on stage. (His nose is attached under his chin, it's green because of the colorblind palette)
