My name is Petra Šípková. I'm from Central Europe - Czech Republik. I'm an autodidact. I was boring 1970, I grew up in socialism. In a time of totalitarianism, fear, uniformity, lies, self-censorship and real socialism. After the Velvet Revolution I was devoted to medicine anf family. I have been working as a doktor in intensive medicine, emergency medicine, anesthesiology of 25 years. All this shaped my personality. I am single in my work because I have the necessities of live and so I do not have to pander, I do not have to paint for effect to like and sell. I can create independently, art for art. I looking for essence, depth, novelty, quality, truth, freedom, my personal aesthetics. I have an abstract brain, I am a natural science type, I have to be retional at work, put off emotions and act. In creation I can compensate everything, become whole, complex, healthy. I am cultivating my inner world, discovering my emotions, I let the imagination work, archetypal memories, seeking new associations, celebrating change, waiting for a flash of inspiration, I am grateful calming, innerizing, spirituality.
