ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I really enjoy action painting. To be in the moment. You, the canvas, and the brush. Where will it take you? I'm surprised sometimes when I step back and view the progress and say to myself "Where's this coming from?" I hope you can jump in and enjoy a story, visualize the movement and get taken away. I decided to do these black and white pieces after finding out Robert Motherwell and I were born in the same town. So I decided to jump down that rabbit hole. Now I have gorgeous thick black paint expressed over a large canvas. This piece is on flat canvas. Not stretched
