Stefan Hegel was born in germany in the beginning of the 70´s. The artist lives and works on his art in Wuppertal. The interest in illustration and non-objective painting has its origin in the 90´s. The artworks arise out of different and moodier motivation - in one in the moment changing, not specified technique. The colours are applied with a palette-knife, sometimes with paint-brushes or other items. In one or more layers, with a fine deep structure, the colours were levigated till they are completely dry. Colours and abstract forms in non-objective paintings are playing the leading part (occasionally in form of meta-landscapes). Some of the works arise against the background of the main topic ‘World in my eyes’. For the artist Hegel, colours and forms are the birth of visual influence.
