Moniek Voulon lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. After my work as a graphic designer I started painting in 1990. In 1994 I had my first soloshow in Amsterdam, at Galerie De Verdieping. In 1995 I became a member of Art-association Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam. Received in 1998 a basic stipendium for two years from the Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture (Fonds voor Beeldende Kunsten, Vormgeving en Bouwkunst) in Amsterdam. Made several solo-exhibitions from 1994 (see my CV on ) in Amsterdam and in 2001 two solo's in Rome at Gallery Monogramma (article and photograph in Italian newspaper) and at the Business Centre Parco di Medici. Organised and curated/participated from 2003/2006 three major international groupexhibitions, in Amsterdam, in 2004 in New York.
