ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The beautiful color purple and all its variations was my inspiration for this abstract resin piece. I wished to create a piece that was both bold yet serene and used several layers of resin to create depth. It is on 7/8" cradled wood panel, wired and ready for hanging. Sides are painted with Golden's mica iron oxide - a warm, nearly black color that dries with texture (similar to sandpaper) and sparkle. It will look lovely in a coastal or modern home.
