Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Paper, Wood.

This queen is inspired of sailing and specifcally that of the Mediterranean sea. In fact, all the elements of this painting are indigenous to the Mediterranean, from coralsto starfish, from the only colored fish from the Mediterranean to jellyfish and Nautilus. The Queen, carrying a ship on her head, became an eighteenth-century lady who, with her white wig stands out against the dark blue sea bottom. The ship is a historic Italian sailing ship from 1930 that perfectly restored and functioning, still competes in the mediterranean.
