ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work has a lot of movement and energy on the canvas. Before I started this work I was thinking about the different subatomic parts of an atom like quarks and leptons with their unusual geometric shapes and constant movement. To create energy on the canvas I used bright fluorescent paint for the reds and oranges which were balanced by the light blue. I also use different thicknesses for the edges of the figures and intentionally made some of the lines out of kilter.
