Azarias developed a strong interest for the arts at a very young age. After having studied science in university, he redirected his studies and obtained a Fine Arts degree from the University of Valenciennes in France. He then started to work on realtime visual performances and digital installations exhibited in major places and festivals (Barcelona, Paris, London, ...) where he could share his knowledge in science and his skills in art. His work now focus on the line between the sensible world and the intelligible world. He's questionning these objects called "hybrids" by Bruno Latour, "quasi-objects" by Michel Serres or "hyperobjects" by Timothy Morton, that chalenge the modern opposition between nature and culture. His series of object-paintings (the word has been invented by italian artist Paolo Scheggi) is a never-ending dialetical process to express the close relationship between humans and non-humans: geometric and organic shapes, algorithm and sensitivity, industrial tools and hand, ... In the last years he has presented his work around the world as well as in various galleries and cultural centres. We may also find his paintings in private and corporate collections.
