ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The quetzal is one of the birds that I like the most, the green and red feathers contrast in each flight making it a show. With its long rear feathers, it seems to me a majestic and elegant bird, which displays beauty everywhere. The Quetzal is a bird that has inspired many legends among them, that of Quetzalcoatl, Aztec god half bird half snake. It makes me think that beauty is not fought with force. Made on Fabriano paper with artistic watercolors, this original measures 20 x 50 cm and is shipped wrapped in a cardboard box with protections.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I started my career 7 years ago drawing humorous cartoons, I was attracted by the satire and the critical load of the medium, although over time I realized that the main subject of criticism was me, that is why my painting represents a journey of introspection where I constantly question myself who I am, why and how the medium determines me. When you grow up in a city as big as Mexico, you can see many things but the ones that strike me most are the splashes of color that sporadically sprout from the flowers that stand firm against the common gray of the buildings, so in my work You also find flowers and birds to which my grandmother inherited a great love.
