Dear friends, Welcome to Victoria’s art workshop for warmth and light! Victoria Stoyanova is born and lives a long way away from you – in a small and beautiful European country, Bulgaria. It is a veritable heaven with incredible nature, millennia-old history and warm-hearted people. She grew up with an eye for beauty – it is abundant here! Her life journey has been rich and creative, full of ups and downs. As a young kid, Victoria dreamt of devoting herself to music. She adored music and still do. For years on end, she was out of piano and guitar lessons, and in solfeggio practice. Victoria sang in a Bulgarian folk music group and was a soloist in a large youth choir. She lived and breathed music, but fate had other plans in store for her. High school qualified her in textile art design. However, she ended up not following this career path because at age 18, she was entrusted with the position of a fashion designer in a prestigious fashion firm. Ten years in a successful fashion career later, Victoria embarked on a new artistic journey. All the madness around the catwalk, high heels and a suitcase always packed had worn her down. The incessant business trips and artistic chaos were exhausting. She realised she wanted more peace of mind, time for family and a rediscovery of her true being she felt she lost in success. At 29, Victoria became an artist and started from scratch. At 30, she had her first solo exhibition on Syros island, Greece. It all happened so quickly, almost on a whim. Today, 23 years later, it’s blatantly obvious it was no whim. It was her fate, her fulfilling artistic life. In two decades, she had 48 exhibitions – in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, France, the UK and Spain. Meanwhile, she won awards at two prestigious international competitions for contemporary artists: “Step to success”, 2013, Moscow – 1st prize, & “Tears of Happiness”, 2013, Oxford, UK – 2nd place. What she considers the most precious award and achievement is: ‘I travelled the world, I met incredible people, collectors, clients – and they all became friends. I found myself again! My dreams of new worlds brought me so far. It gives me tremendous joy to share my art with you and I will ensure that all options are available. My soul is rich and fertile. The Muse loves me, although I don’t have much time for chatting with her, as I am always hard at work. I love the fruit of my hands and heart! I would be extremely happy to find new friends across the pond. And even happier to bring joy to your hearts too.’ Warmest wishes Victoria
