This is one of a group of four in a series of paintings with the working title 'Words Fail Me'. They employ text in different ways as an element in the work. This group uses common phrases of the type employed in promotional material and places them in an open-ended context so the meaning becomes obscure. My aim is to reflect on how language and meaning changes with over familiarity and misuse.
