ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The first in a series of three paintings inspired by (odd) antique dolls seen at a local museum. This trio, one slightly falling away, looked like they might have a secret story to tell. The background was an antique kimono pattern, hand painted with fabric dye, washed to age, and then stained all over with coffee.
