ABOUT THE ARTWORK
At the beginning of the year, the artist lets himself go towards a freedom of gesture and colors outside his usual path. On this work the artist has integrated collages of flower drawings made a few years ago. This is the first time that the artist has tried this experience, which allows him to compose his painting differently and leaves him with a lot of pictorial freedom. The oval shape in the middle brings us to a kind of window on a horizon of a bluish sky where birds fly. Stripes are very present in all kinds of shapes and colors. Japanese Chyiogami paper collages were also used for their beauty and patterns. The work is varnished and the sides are painted black.
