Reading Painting

The painting "Reading" I teach at an art school, children have been around me for more than 10 years, and at home too. I have two beautiful and very different daughters. Every day I see and analyze emotions, experiences, joy and children's fun. Children are very different: cute and capricious, cheerful and anxious, kind and angry, with their devils in their heads and I love them all, no matter what. Of course, children have become one of my favorite subjects. When I saw my eldest daughter with a book, I wanted to draw this picture. Here she does not look like a child, she is already quite big, the sun shines on her long legs and plays with rays on the folds of the sheet. A beautiful combination of yellow and turquoise, I am often attracted by such color contrasts, I could not pass by and captured this composition. The picture has an unusual format. And contrasting colors will become a bright accent in your room. The picture will perfectly fit into the interior of a teenager and not only. Maybe she'll remind you of your daughter. The painting, measuring 50x100cm, is painted on a cotton canvas with oil paints, the work is done with a brush. The edges of the picture are painted black. The canvas is covered with varnish. The picture will be sent to you on a stretcher and with fasteners for hanging in a reliable four-layer package: tracing paper, film, polystyrene foam, a tight box. After unpacking it, you can immediately hang the picture on the wall.
