Realization Painting

Elpifos was born in Athens (Greece) on 4th February 1980 and grew up in Piraeus. He was raised in an art loving family and at the age of 17 he discovered the inspiration through painting. At the same age he created his first painting "Parthenogenesis" and decided to follow the path of Art. He studied Design of Structures and after his Professor (Christina Dallas) motivation he started painting lessons. For almost 7 years he travelled around the world, trying to find himself and the true meaning of life. That decision opened his horizons and the creativity started flowing until up to this day that he lives in Corfu (Kerkyra) island and spends his days in his workshop. Elpifos is also the writer of two books. Epanastasis (Revolution) published on 2009 and INFINIMAL published on 2022. His books themes are about philosophical theories, poetry and painting. He has more than 200 art pieces in his collections until now. (Statues and Paintings). He is the father of a young daughter, Iris, who was born on 2019 and since then Elpifos' art became literally colourful! Often he simplifies the techniques to highlight the meaning of the lines and maintain the balance. His creations are characterized by intuition, clairvoyance, automation, symbolism, timelessness and the endless seek of the unusual. With all that, he offers the viewer a variaty of emotions and meanings. Elpifos is an artist that you cannot easily label and put into a category or a movement. He is a man who manages to balance respect and freedom and that has so many meanings in our time.
