"Rebirth", oil on hexagonal cotton canvas, 50x68 cm, ready to hang. My painting expresses the internal stratification. I did it with the help of the illusory intersection of the canvas surface. Fire appears on the canvas as a metaphor for light, burning and rebirth. I am an artist living and working in Gdańsk, Poland. I graduated from the Faculty of Painting and Drawing at the University of Arts in Poznań (2017). I ‘m interested in creating space and distance that feels like the familiar world around us but is ambiguous, general, and abstracted. I believe that the image is a fragment of material and spiritual reality. I treat my paintings as a mental journey through the places. I try to capture what is on the verge of visibility. I study the structures of reality in their passing process, in constant movement and transformation. Creative work is a process that opens me up to the work of memory and imagination. I deal with painting, photography, drawing, graphics and objects. I like to combine various media in search of a suitable form of artistic expression.
