I am a London-based figurative artist who paints landscapes, cityscapes. street scenes and nudes. My work concentrates on the human figure either as the main subject or in the context of a land/cityscape or interior space. I work mainly in oils and mixed media on board, starting from pencil and watercolour studies. I am influenced by the expressive figurative painting of Sargent and Sorolla and by the descriptive drawings of travel artists such as David Roberts.
