ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an original, one of a kind painting on a thick rectangular canvas; hand painted by me in February 2015. This abstract landscape painting is titled 'Red Grove' and it features a grouping of trees with bold crimson red foliage against a moody background of tan and a blue/gray sky. There are visible charcoal scribbles that are revealed subtly in the background layers. This painting has great texture from thick and glossy red paint applied with a palette knife. The thick edges of the canvas are neatly finished in black, so framing is not necessary. Several coats of varnish will be applied for dust and UV protection. Hanging hardware is attached, and this painting is signed with my first name on the front, and fully signed, titled and dated on the reverse.
