This is a part of series of paintings „Train story“. It came from my huge interest for train motive. Exploring these field I discovered rich family railway history. From birth in train, over the entire working life on railway to the death on the track. All of that are segments of life of different members of my family. Consequently train is getting new meaning, he became synonym of home, and railtrack became way and crossroad between past and present. It creates an invisible correspondence with ancestors and own spirit, search for archetype and traveling through landscape of unconscious, between real and irrational, material and spiritual, factual and substantial. In representation of train is not important his look, neither the his sound, but mixture of feelings which he is inspiring. Spaces are not necessary physical spaces, but spaces of our conscience.

Anđela Đermanović (1993) born in Belgrade, Serbia. Completed her bachelor and master's studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2017, Department of Painting. Co-author of the documentary ethnographic film series Počudište. In my doctoral art project "Image and story - multimedia structure of a piece of engaged art" I presented an eclectic professional and personal life that influenced the formation of the ambience of the artwork. As an artist, I take on the role of an observer who, with the principle of active imagination, transforms my own experiences and chronicling view of society into a work of art. My artistic work is a symbiosis of scientific and autobiographical, i.e. symbiosis between artistic references, literature, folk rituals and empirical experience. Active on the art scene since 2013. So far, had seven solo exhibitions and participated in more than 80 group exhibitions.
