ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Love is in the air. My "Bouquet" series of artworks are about relationships. The colors I used are to resemble flowers, or in the instance of the "Red Rose" pieces, roses, and maybe even perhaps internal organs, namely the heart. After I painted my pieces I cut them with an exacto knife. I made large cuts and painstakingly stitched them back together. You will see that the stitches were placed one by one. This represents the intensity of emotions in relationships and the hard work it takes to make them work.
