Red Painting

Nicklas Kristiansen is a self-taught abstract artist from Stockholm, Sweden. He began painting during his paternity leave and found an unexpected interest in combining color and form. Since then, more and more people have discovered his large, colorful abstract paintings in acrylic. Nicklas paints abstract art in a handful different styles and new techniques are developed as time goes by which means that a variety of abstract artworks appear continuously. “The great thing about abstract art or abstract expressionism is that one can experiment during the process of painting with unexpected results. A painting can sometimes be painted a few times before you are completely satisfied. This gives the painting personality and structure. Sometimes you hit a wall and have to put the painting on a break, but the most failed paintings can sometimes be the absolute best ones.. ”
