The idea behind this piece was a satirical poke at the made up "red phone" in the oval office in so many movies and the state of current societal affairs. The red phone box being a metaphor for the "red phone". The tagged and sticker covered box a metaphor for the current political state and the out of focus background a metaphor for the current state of society as a whole. The stickers are real. They are skate companies, local Denver bands and a local Denver music store. This Is War is painted. As with all my paintings, it is signed, gallery wrapped, the sides are painted, it's wired and ready to hang.
