ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This diptych offers a meditation on geometry and dimension. Organic hand marbled motifs float across the painterly blue and pink backgrounds as well as reveals the wood sub straight beneath. Gold leaf gilding accents the motifs. This work is a diptych composed of two separate paintings, each is 8x12" and each hangs independently in a rustic, custom-made wood frame. Signed on the back. Part of an ongoing body of work, titled 'Cosmic Archeology' that expresses various mental constructs, cultural mythos, and natural phenomenon through a reductive visual language.
