Sides painted black and framed. A new abstract landscape created from my life experience…. Based on a feeling, a moment… that moment when you feel strong, grounded, renewed. A piece that exists to remind you of your connection to life and a heart full of hope. I want to represent nature as a tool I’ve used to stay present and achieve calmness ... My ultimate goal is that if one of these pieces has the honor to occupy you wall space, that it will remind you to pause, look around at our beautiful world, take a deep breath and truly know life is as it should and everything will be alright. My landscapes have varying levels of abstraction as I interpret and connect to different feelings that I have personally experienced in the outdoors. I´m a self taught artist, I have painted and created all of my life, I honestly can't remember a time in my life were I didn't! I had my first solo art show in 2004 and I've been pursuing art solely and formally since 2017; since then I've come to terms about being self taught, and I feel proud and happy with my progress and with the quality of my work. I paint because creating is where I'm most true to myself. It is a great expression of self love where I lose my fears and I create from a place of calmness and self awareness.
