ABOUT THE ARTWORK
One of a series of paintings evoking the ever-moving currents of nature: land, sea, and sky. Using several techniques across layers, as well as pouring different densities of mixed paints and media to create surprising and beautifully intricate pattern, translucent depth and richly textured colour combinations. Inspired by life on a small island in the Salish Sea(Canada), where nature's accretions and erosions are part of the landscape intricacies.
