Misha Cittadini is a Czech-born visual artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She earned her MFA from the Academy of Art University (2025), receiving the "Best Abstract" award. Working in Studio 107 at the ICB Building in Sausalito, CA, USA, her practice explores the intersection of painting and perception. She gets inspired by invisible forces such as vibration, waves and energy as well as by natural rhythms and electronic frequencies. In her "Resonance Series" she layers acrylic inks, spray paint, and embedded fiber optic light in some cases. Cittadini treats light as a physical, architectural material integrated directly into the painted surface, creating a presence of light that encourages slow looking. This dual approach reflects her interest in the relationship between activation and stillness, transforming the static canvas into a site of active dialogue. Her work has been exhibited at the Eighth West Coast Biennial, The Other Art Fair Los Angeles, and Superfine Art Fair San Francisco. Her art is held in private collections globally, including Europe, Australia, and the USA.
