Resting in nature Painting

I've been painting since I can remember. Even as a child I sat under the table for hours and painted. Just everything I saw. Later, with 17 when I was not accepted at the entrance examination for the art college, I burned my whole portfolio with over 600 drawings. (I do regret today) Afterwards I studied performing art and theatre.In 1992 I started to paint again for one year and some works were created and sold. In November 2019 I attended a workshop with an artist and since then I have been painting again without interruption. Art has again completely captivated me. My work goes from abstract acryl painting, gelprint and silkscreen to assemblage and collage. I am mainly interested in everything when it comes to technique. When I paint I never start with an idea but let myself be guided by the first strokes of the brush. It's like a flight through clouds and I know exactly when the painting is finished. I never paint for others I paint because I enjoy it and it makes me happy. Finding one's own style and expression is like a therapy - it is the search for perfection and it is the wish to create and to leave something lasting and meaningful behind.
